Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I start therapy with you?
Please completely fill out the contact form for Therapy within Services Offered and we will get back with you.
  • Do you take insurance?
We accept Aetna, Cigna, and Optum (United Health) at this time. Other insurances will be added soon! We do also accept self-pay (paying out of pocket or out of network) and can provide you with a superbill for your insurance to possibly seek reimbursement.
  • I live in a different state. Can you provide me therapy?
We can only provide therapy to those who reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Washington State, due to the legalities of licenses held at this time.
  • Can I receive supervision at Boldly Honor You if I am seeking licensure in another state?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide supervision for individuals seeking licensure in other states at this time. This may change, so check again in the future! As of now, supervision services are specifically tailored to meet the licensure requirements of the state of North Carolina, ensuring that LCMHCAs receive the most relevant and applicable support in their journey toward licensure. We understand the difficulty in finding a supervisor and encourage you to look at the licensure board for your state for resources and additional support in finding a qualified supervisor that can meet your needs!
  • How much will therapy cost me?
The cost of therapy can vary depending on several factors, including the type of therapy (individual, couples) and the duration of each session. We offer competitive rates and also consider sliding scale fees based on financial need on a first come, first serve basis as available. Additionally, we accept various insurance plans that may cover some or all of the cost. We believe in providing accessible and affordable mental health care to our clients, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss options.
"Take as much time as you need to make up your mind, but once it is made up, step out on your decision like it's something you want."
